It’s been a busy week for the fashion world, and it’s only Thursday! But because the news never stops, we’ve got a few more high-fashion (and affordable!) celebrity partnerships to kick off the rest of your week — from Katy Perry‘s merry collab with H&M to Ellen DeGeneres‘ empowering collection for GapKids and more, below!

Ignore those 100° temps in much of the country: The holidays are upon us! We’ll, they’re upon Katy Perry, anyway, who “unwrapped” the news that she will be the face of H&M’s holiday collection this November via a cute piece-by-piece reveal on the brand’s Instagram (above).
“Ladies, Gentlemen & unlabeled- let’s take a petite pause on the beauteous summer we are experiencing & open our calendars tooooo…🎄🎁THE HOLIDAYS🎁🎄 I am excited to announce that I will be 🌟starring🌟in @hm’s #HappyandMerry Holiday Campaign launching later this year!!! Stay tuned for the whole unwrapping! Tap for credits! (can’t believe I already have holiday emojis in my most recently used emoji’s…more shame),” she wrote of the collab.
While details on the line aren’t yet available, knowing Perry’s aesthetic, we’re hoping to see lots of bold, colorful and extravagant pieces to celebrate the holiday season, like a tacky Christmas tree–adorned sweater (with working lights!), bright-colored tights and more.
“H&M was one of the places where I first began cultivating my personal style. I have continued to love integrating H&M pieces into my wardrobe throughout the years,” Perry said in a statement. “One of the reasons I love the holidays is being able to dress cozy and cute, which H&M executes so well for every budget. I can’t wait for you to see the world we created with Jonas Åkerlund and Dan Jackson.”
“Stay with Me” singer Sam Smith is extending his world domination to fashion, landing a major new gig as the new face of Balenciaga. The high-fashion label shared a sneak peek at the fall/winter campaign on Instagram, with Smith posing in a series of black-and-white images, shot by renowned photographer Josh Olins.
“I am absolutely honoured to have been chosen to be the face of Balenciaga. I have been a devoted fan of the brand for a while now. I love how intimate it feels, and how involved Alexander has been and is with the brand,” said Smith in a statement. “I never in my wildest dreams thought I’d be wearing these clothes let alone modeling them. So this is a dream come true, and I hope the beginning of a lovely long relationship with Alexander and the House.”
Ellen DeGeneres is more than just a TV talk show host, actress and comedian. Turns out she’s a designer, too! The star has partnered with Gap to create a collection of children’s clothing for its GapKids branch in collaboration with her new lifestyle brand, ED, available on Aug. 17. Dubbed GapKids x ED, the line of everyday wear for girls is more than just clothing. It’s a social movement “designed to help all girls realize they have the power to do extraordinary things,” according to a release.
“I am thrilled that my lifestyle brand, ED, is partnering with Gap to encourage young girls to pursue their passion, whether it’s math, science, sports, the arts,” DeGeneres said in a statement. “Following my passion allowed me to be exactly who I am today — a talk show host with a vibrant side business as a party mime.”
You’ve heard her in Gossip Girl, Frozen and Veronica Mars, and now, Kristen Bell is lending her voice once again as a narrator — but this time, it’s for a good cause! The actress has teamed up with the eco-friendly clothing brand Amour Vert to narrate an animated short film to remind consumers of the damage the fashion industry has on the environment. But it’s not all bad! The film also tells us how we can all become better buyers through sustainability, non-toxic dyes, minimal carbon footprints and supply chain integrity.
Supermodel Karlie Kloss has nabbed yet another major fashion gig for fall. This time, she’s fronting Express’s ‘Fit For You’ denim campaign in a series of photos, shot by Lachlan Bailey and styled by Claire Richardson, showing off the brand’s three key denim styles: the girlfriend, the flare and the legging.
While we’re not quite ready to throw on our jeans just yet (we’re still holding on to every ounce of summer we can get), Kloss’s photos do make us want to hit the mall and do some credit card damage!
And finally, Bella Hadid sparkles in a brand-new ad for Boghossian Jewels (wearing what we’re assuming is hundreds of thousands of dollars of white and emerald diamonds), which she debuted on her Instagram. (Not too shabby considering she also is a face of Balmain with sister Gigi!)
“New @boghossianjewels campaign shot in Paris by #JavierVallhonrat hair by the wonderful @LaurentPhilippon makeup by an Angel @thevalgarland wearing one of the most expensive pieces I have ever been in contact with in my life 😅💙💎,'” she captioned the glitzy shot.
